How did you learn how to cook and bake?
I started cooking and baking when I was eight years old! I LOVED creating recipes! Luckily, my mom let me experiment – no matter how BIG of a mess I made! However, at that age, my knowledge was limited – so I learned from my mistakes…
Did you know that putting one tablespoon of every herb and spice (allspice, cinnamon, chili powder, cloves, garlic, ginger, paprika, nutmeg, oregano, etc.,) into homemade chicken noodle soup is… NOT A GOOD IDEA??? Who knew??
Fast forward, many years… I created recipes for an exclusive catering business. Before that, I had my own baking business. I loved both cooking/baking jobs very much, but I do NOT miss getting up at 3:00 AM!

My Gorgeous Man! We have been married almost 50 years!! (I know, I can’t believe it either!) He is such fun to be with, it seems like we are still on our honeymoon. I love him more now than I did when we first got married! (Man alive, I really need to update this photo… but we were so CUTE, then!!!!)
